Family memories are made at Moonlight bay on Kennisis Lake in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands of Ontario. Every room has a view of the lake and the magnificent moonlight. South west exposure for all day sun on the waterfront deck, large dock and shallow entry sand bottom weed free shoreline. With loads of water toys to enjoy the pristine waters of Kennisis lake.

Inside you are greeted with a fresh new kitchen, cozy dining area and living room with Satellite TV, Xbox and lots of games and movies.  On the front deck enjoy the beautiful lake view while Barbecuing on the Weber, lounging or dining. 

The master bedroom with queen bed is on the main floor, three bedrooms are in the loft area with a queen in the second bedroom, single bunks and a twin in the third and a double in the fourth. Each bedroom has a view of the lake.  The four-piece bathroom with tub/shower is off the kitchen on the main floor.

By the lake, relax in the Muskoka chairs on the large waterfront deck, enjoy the ‘lily pad’ swim raft, one canoe, a paddle boat, kayak and 3 stand up paddle boards.

Pets: One small non shedding/non water dog only.

Kennisis Lake is a large, premier lake in the Haliburton Highlands, and offers amazing boating and fishing opportunities, home to the famous Haliburton Gold Lake Trout. There is a marina a ten-minute drive away from the cottage where you can launch a boat or take advantage of their boat rentals.

The hamlet of West Guildford is a 25-minute drive away where you’ll find a butcher shop with groceries, beer store and LCBO. The Village of Haliburton is just 45 minutes away and has a great selection of major food stores, clothing stores, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, live entertainment and much more.  Plus, the Haliburton Forest and Wolf Centre is only 10 minutes from the cottage and offers great nature trails, a ‘Walk in the Clouds’ adventure and incredible wildlife viewing at the famous Wolf Centre.

Important Guest Information

Important guest information:

• Pillows and blankets are provided.
• Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
• A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
• You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out. 
• BBQ Gas is provided

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

• Garbage information
• Location of cleaning supplies
• Power failure instructions
• Primary contact information

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

• Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 12pm.

You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
