Nestled in the quiet community of Ingoldsby, the Lake House is an easy drive to Minden or Haliburton and The Haliburton School of Fine Arts. This property sits on Lake Kashagawigamog, part of the Haliburton Highlands’ 5-lake chain. It offers 310 feet of sandy shoreline on a ¾ Acre Lot with northwestern exposure and an expansive view of the lake.
There is a large eat-in kitchen with an adjoining laundry room and a nook for enjoying your morning coffee while overlooking the lake. Just off the kitchen in one direction there is a large games room overlooking the deck and the lake. In the other direction there is a very large family area with a piano, a sitting area with a TV and a large comfortable living room. If you are musically inclined the piano is yours to enjoy for a sing along.
The Lake House has 4 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, there are two single beds in the 3rd bedroom, and single bunk beds in the 4th bedroom. There is a 4-piece bathroom with tub and shower on the upper level. The main house will accommodate a maximum of 6 adults with 2 children. N.B. Pet restriction - one non shedding non water dog.
Outside is equally spacious. There is a large deck at the Lake House with patio furniture and a BBQ for the Cottage Culinary Chef, plus a fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts. A large flat lawn extends from the road to the lake where there is a platform and dock with plenty of space to sit for one and all. Adjacent to the dock is a shallow sand entry for easy access to the water.
A BONUS Guest House is included with this Haliburton Vacation Property. The Guesthouse has a sitting area, a complete kitchenette and two bedrooms …one with a double bed and the other with single bunk beds, accommodating a maximum of 2 adults with 2 children. There is also a 4-piece bath with tub and shower. This Bonus Guesthouse has a deck at the water’s edge with a small BBQ and a fabulous view of the Lake.
On Lake Kashagawigamog there is plenty of water to explore. The 310’ of shoreline is sandy with shallow waters and a gradual slope…excellent for swimming. Kashagawigamog's 5 lake chain is stocked with Lake Trout, other fish species include; Black Crappie, Whitefish, Large and small mouth bass, and Walleye.
The owner is providing a canoe, 2 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards for your enjoyment, all guest are required to provide a properly fitted lifejacket while enjoying water activities. There is a marina just 10 minutes away if you would like to rent a larger boat and cruise Kashagawigamog, stopping at a lakeside restaurant for a cold drink or lunch!
This Lake House and bonus Guesthouse is an excellent value for a family of 12 who want a spacious accommodation. The Haliburton Highlands provides plenty of nearby amenities to experience. All summer long there is the popular School of the Arts. There is the fabulous Art and Craft Festival in Head Lake Park in nearby Haliburton Village in July, or take in one of the acts at the Forest Festival in August. The Fall months also bring Haliburtons' Colourfest and the Haliburton Studio Tour, not to mention the breath-taking scenery to be enjoyed everywhere. There is much to do and see in the Haliburton Highlands or just find your quiet spot on this oversized lot and relax. The Lake House on Kashagawigamog is located within a 15-minute drive of the Haliburton School of Fine Arts. If you are a mature group of students coming to Haliburton for summertime classes, then this Lake House is a good choice for you.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.

There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Agency Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA, MC or Discover card for that.
The balance is due 30 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.
