Beautiful family cottage on the sandy shores of Sturgeon Lake in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario, Canada. Enjoy your summer vacation relaxing in the lakeside Gazebo, or on the large lake view deck.

Inside is a large living room with TV and cable, dining table for games and family meals. The kitchen is well equipped and a BBQ on the deck for the cottage chef.

Master bedroom with beautiful lake view, access to the deck and a full ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 with a Double bed, bedroom 3 has two twin beds and bedroom 4 a Queen and twin. The second bathroom is also a 4 piece with tub and shower.

There is wifi and a strong cell signal. 

The cottage is located minutes to Eganridge Golf and Country Club with spa, for meals out, a round of golf or a relaxing spa treatment.

Beautiful lakefront lawn well maintained right down to the sand beach with shallow entry.  The 40' dock is behind the cottage in the canal.  There are two kayaks and a paddle boat for guest use.

Located 5 minutes from Bobcaygeon with great shopping - be sure to stop in at the world famous Bigley's, 15 minutes from Fenlon Falls and under 30 minutes from Lindsay.

Sturgeon Lake is in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Trent Severn Waterway.  The lake is approximately 25 km (16 mi) from the southern to the north-eastern extremes. Fishing enthusiasts will know Sturgeon Lake for its trophy Bass - both large and small mouth, walleye, perch and many more varieties will keep your line in the water for hours.

Important guest information:

  • Pillows and blankets are provided.
  • Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
  • A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
  • You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out. 
  • BBQ Gas is provided

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

  • Garbage information
  • Location of cleaning supplies
  • Power failure instructions
  • Primary contact information

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

  • Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 12 pm.

You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.

The Owner appreciates you enjoying the cottage and we all hope you have a wonderful vacation.

Outdoor:

There is a 40 foot dock in the canal behind the cottage to moor a boat.  The shoreline on the lake side is sandy.  An adult can walk out to chest height and then there are some weeds at that point.  Swim shoes are recommended if playing in the water.

Two adult bikes are available.

Notes

There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Service Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA, MC or Discover card for that.

The balance is due 30 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.
