You can drink the tap water, it is from the lake and filtered through a UV system.  If uncomfortable with rural systems, there is a large jug water dispenser in the kitchen. We encourage guests to not bring single use plastic water bottles.

Please note the water pressure in the main cottage shower is lower than the one in the boathouse bunkie.

Along with baseboard heating in the main cottage and bunkie there is one blower unit in each the main cottage and bunkie.

Important Guest Information

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

Important guest information:

• Pillows and blankets, bed and kitchen linens, and indoor and outdoor towels are included.
• We ask that you kindly clean the cottage, do the dishes, and remove all personal items and food when you check out (see Welcome Book for additional information).
• Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove excessive garbage/recycling, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
• BBQ Gas is provided.
• Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
• Please note the water pressure in the master bedroom shower can vary at times.
• Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour’s property.

Remember to bring:

• Properly sized life jackets for everyone participating in water activities (pertaining to summer bookings).
• Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue - a starter supply is provided so please replenish what you use.
• Firewood - If intending to use the cottage fire pit, please ensure you purchase firewood local to the cottage to prevent the transit of invasive species to our area.
• A flashlight with fresh batteries for those dark evenings!

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information upon your arrival - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

• garbage information - clear garbage bags are provided, there is no compost program - all compost goes into household, recycling is mandatory with details in the welcome book
• location of cleaning supplies
• power failure instructions
• primary contact information.
