Escape to a 4-season Algonquin Park wilderness experience with all the relaxing amenities of home. Swim in this clean Algonquin lake, enjoy fishing and ATV trips, and even winter sledding getaways!
The interior of the Lake House features easy living necessities like satellite TV, internet, comfortable living room, large kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath on the main level. Downstairs there is a den with TV and sleeping for 4 more on 2 single beds and a pull-out couch. There is also a 3-pc bathroom with shower stall and laundry facilities.
Outside, the large deck has a wonderful view of the lake and is perfect for summer BBQ's, meals, games and lounging. The grounds are nicely maintained with flower gardens and a spacious lawn for playing.
There is ample privacy with tall stands of trees and bush between the Lake House and neighbouring cottages. Situated on Mink Lake, which meanders along the southeastern edge of Algonquin Park, you are surrounded by the natural beauty of evergreens and towering deciduous trees rising from the landscape.
The manicured grassy lot gently slopes to the water's edge where you can lounge, assemble gear for water sports, or simply enjoy the sun while keeping an eye on the children playing in the water. The shoreline is shallow entry coarse sand that drops off and is deep entry off the end of the dock. If fishing is what you like to do, this sparkling lake is known for it's lake trout and bass.
The boat launch is approx 1km away at 1261 Mink Lake Road for easy access if you bring a boat with you.
In the shoulder months enjoy hiking, ATV'ing, fishing or taking in local seasonal events in near by towns and Algonquin Park. The Eastern Ontario Trail Alliance has a trail within easy access of the Lake House.
And at the end of the day you can enjoy the peace and harmony of being surrounded by nature while relaxing in front of the living room fireplace.
