At Skyfall you'll feel as if you are in the middle of the forest yet you're just minutes from the Village of Dorset. Very private setting with inviting paths to the lake and strikingly beautiful natural landscaping.

Relax in the open-concept living spaces. There are two Great Rooms that have cathedral ceilings and fireplaces with stone hearths. The indoors open onto a generous entertaining deck and patio area where you can watch the sun go down. The path to the lake has a winding trail of 122 steps with remarkable vistas on the way, your first encounter will be the woodland writer's cabin, next a forest bench and then the sauna before entering the pristine waters of Lake of Bays.  The beautiful clean shoreline has a shallow sandy area plus deep-water docking. There are several water toys that you may use.

Inside the cottage the kitchen has everything you need to make great meals and two indoor dining areas with vast views of the forest and lake. There are 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, all thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the glorious lake views and to fill every interior space with light.

Skfyall is a part-time home and we ask that you treat it with as much care as the owners do. As a close-knit group of cottagers, we endeavour to respect each other's space while enjoying cottage excursions. If you are looking for a place to enjoy nature, water fun, fall hikes, snowshoeing, fireside chats and beautiful sunsets, then please consider renting Skyfall. We value our tranquility as do our neighbours. We're happy to share our piece of paradise with like-minded folks, we only ask that you respect the home, the neighbours privacy, and the environment.

Dorset is only 2 km away with the famous and amazing Robinson's General Store and Trader's Bay Restaurant. Algonquin Park is a short drive along Highway 60 in one direction with Arrowhead Provincial Park and its skate trail and tubing the other. The Frost Centre's 25km of groomed cross-country trails are only 10km south along Highway 35.

Pet Policy: One dog only, upon approval. Breed, age and training must be disclosed prior to confirmation.

• Pillows and blankets are provided.
• Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
• A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
• You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out. 
• BBQ Gas is provided
• WiFi Password is provided upon arrival

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

• Garbage information
• Location of cleaning supplies
• Power failure instructions
• Primary contact information

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

• Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 10am.

You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
