Situated on a point and surrounded by Hemlock and Pine Trees, along with a south-east view of a large bay on Kennisis Lake, this cottage has multiple relaxation areas, a grand fire pit by the lake and a very private granite shoreline and lots of room to romp, play and explore the natural surroundings.
Inside is the perfect setup for meals, playing games, and relaxing with everyone able to gather in either the large open concept living and kitchen area or in the recreation room in the walkout basement. There is a TV and entertainment centre on connected to satellite upstairs and a TV for watching videos playing pool and other games downstairs. There is loads of room here for everyone.
There are three bedrooms with the master on the main level having a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom which is also accessible from the hallway. The second bedroom is on the main floor with a double bed. The third bedroom is on the lower level and has 2 double beds for the children. There are 3 bathrooms all with showers. There are also laundry facilities for your use.
The shoreline is a sloping granite slab with easy access to deep water off the dock. The location is ideal for privacy with 185 feet of shoreline and the natural forest to provide the solitude of having your own private spot on Kennisis Lake. A canoe, paddle boat and row boat are provided for your enjoyment and there is a play area with a badminton net. There is a marina near the cottage where you can launch a boat or take advantage of their daily boat rentals.
Kennisis is a large lake on a 2-lake chain. It is also the home of the Haliburton Forest with its "Wolf Centre" and "Walk In The Clouds" adventures plus other attractions. If you like to fish, there are bass and lake trout. There are also several golf courses in the Haliburton Highlands. There is a sundries store in Hailburton Forest along with a restaurant. When you need more supplies during your stay, the nearest hamlet is West Guilford, approximately 20 minutes away, where there is a local country store and market with a beer store and LCBO. The Village of Haliburton, just 30 minutes away, is where there are major food stores, clothing stores, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, live entertainment, craft fairs and other amenities.

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.

There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Service Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA, MC or Discover card for that.
For less than 1 week - Service fee of $88.49 + $11.51 HST
The balance is due 30 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.
