This cottage, in the Haliburton Highlands, offers a very unique beautifully appointed "A" frame cottage situated on a point with 360 degrees of exposure, 2,500 of shoreline frontage with a child friendly sand beach and shallow entry shore.
This is a one of a kind, very private, executive getaway for a family of 5 or 6. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults. The beautifully appointed interior is stunning with its high ceiling and beautiful views through the windows. The kitchen provides everything you need to prepare amazing meals. The living room overlooking the lake invites decompression and relaxation. In addition to the open concept living and dining room, the main floor hosts another bedroom with a queen bed with direct view on the lake plus a 4-piece bathroom with tub and shower.
There is a private master bedroom in the loft, with an adjacent bedroom with a double bed - suitable for children, plus a 2-piece washroom.
Outside, the property is flat and natural with lots of open space surrounded by mature trees. There is a dock for lounging and enjoying the sun while keeping an eye on the children playing in the water. There is a canoe and a pedal boat for your enjoyment. There is a fire pit at the shore along with the beautiful 360 degrees of sky at night and the sound of the loons to enjoy.
Kawagama Lake sub-watershed flows from Algonquin Park to Trading Bay on Lake of Bays. You can fish for Lake Trout in this unique very deep fresh water lake said to be the cleanest in Ontario. Water toy rentals and boat launch are available from 2 Marinas on the lake.

Things To Do
This cottage is approx 50 minutes from the Village of Dorset where you can find all of the cottage supplies you need. Dorset is also the home of Robinson's General Store, which is a must to visit when you are in town. If you want to seek out attractions, there are restaurants, local art and culture, hiking trails, golf and scenic lookouts. For more extensive shopping needs and groceries, the picturesque Village of Haliburton, with its summer festivals, concerts, fairs, and shopping, is approx 1 hour and 20 minutes away

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities. Campfire wood is not provided please purchase locally.
The Owner appreciates you enjoying the cottage and we all hope you have a wonderful vacation. He requires an extra liability contract and sign off on house rules. These will be provided during the booking process.
By the dock is a large weatherproof table for 8 and a supreme umbrella.

There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Service Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA, MC or Discover card for that.
The balance is due 30 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.
