This lovely cottage offers plenty of privacy on a deep clean lake that is perfect for swimming and fishing. The mature forest, combined with very tasteful landscaping and stonework provides a calming and relaxing Nature-Scape for you to enjoy. Accessed by a private cottage road, this oasis is well away from any highway, yet is only a 15 minute drive to the nearest town that has all the supplies you will need.
Inside, the soft cedar and oak finishing provide a comfortable traditional upscale cottage feel. The open area kitchen, dining and living room with adjoining screen porch offer all the inside comforts for eating, playing games and just relaxing. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds with pillows and blankets provided. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower insert.
Outside there is a BBQ deck with patio furniture for open-air dining with comfortable seating for four. The property has loads of privacy. There are beautiful stone stairs down to the dock with a bench halfway down. The dock at the shoreline has more chairs to sit and view the lake and swim. There is a sand bottom short shallow area to enter and exit the lake. This family oriented, deep, clean, land-locked lake is great for swimming, fishing, boating and canoeing. Perfect for nature lovers and simply ideal for 2 couples or family of 4 looking to experience and create cottage memories in these quiet, relaxing and natural surroundings.
This cottage is on Hudson Lake near the village of Wilberforce, Ontario. Wilberforce, known as the Geocaching Capital of Canada, is a busy little town with all of the amenities for cottage living. There is a large Foodland store, a gas station, restaurant, LCBO/beer store, pharmacy, Scotia Bank and Agnew's General Store. You can also enjoy many other attractions and experiences that are within 40 minutes of this cottage, including a pleasurable day trip to Algonquin Park or the arts and attractions in the Village of Haliburton, Ontario, plus the exceptional mineral deposits in Bancroft, Ontario and many other attractions in between. There are countless amenities and an abundance of nature to enjoy in this vacation region that boasts one of the most iconic landscapes in Canada.

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
