Located in the village of Haliburton, the Stone House is an easy drive or 25 minute walk to The Haliburton School of the Arts, Glebe Park, Head Lake Park or downtown Haliburton Village. This property sits on Grass Lake, part of the Kashagawigamog 5-lake chain. It offers 300 feet of shoreline on a 1.5 acre lot with southern exposure and an expansive view over the lake.
On the main floor, the kitchen is very well equipped, there is a separate dining room, a private sitting room with TV and fireplace as well as a large living room overlooking the patio and lake.
The Stone House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the main house and another bedroom, bathroom, coffee station and sitting area in the Guest house.
Outside is spacious. There is a granite patio with furniture and your choice of a gas or charcoal BBQ for the Cottage Culinary Chef, plus a fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts. A sloping lawn extends from the house to the lake, a dock where you can park your boat, swim or use the canoe, lily pad and noodles. If you want to rent a boat, there is a full service Marina within walking distance.
This Stone House and guest house is the perfect location for couples who want a spacious and well appointed accommodation. The Haliburton Highlands provides plenty of nearby amenities to experience. All summer long there is the popular School of the Arts. There is the fabulous Art and Craft Festival in Head Lake Park in nearby Haliburton Village in July, or take in one of the acts at the Forest Festival in August. The Fall months also bring Haliburtons' Colourfest and the Haliburton Studio Tour, not to mention the breath-taking scenery to be enjoyed everywhere. There is much to do and see in the Haliburton Highlands or just find your quiet spot on this oversized lot and relax.

There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Service Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA, MC or Discover card for that.
The balance is due 30 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.
