The lake bottom is sandy, access is easiest from the dock ladder as the shoreline is natural rock. There are easy to descend and ascend stairs to the lake and cottage.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
Important guest information:
- Pillows and blankets are provided.
- Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own. Bed sizes are indicated in the listing.
- This cottage comes with a cleaning upon departure. We ask that you kindly tidy, do the dishes, and remove all garbage and food when you check out (see Welcome Book for landfill information)
- Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage/recycling, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
- BBQ Gas is provided.
- Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
- Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour’s property.

Remember to bring:
- Properly sized life jackets for everyone participating in water activities (pertaining to summer bookings).
- Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue - a starter supply is provided so please replenish what you use.
- If intending to use the cottage fire pit, please ensure you source firewood local to the cottage to prevent the transit of invasive species to our area.
- A flashlight with fresh batteries for those dark evenings!
A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information upon your arrival - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:
- garbage information - please bring Clear Garbage Bags, there is no compost program - all compost goes into household, recycling is mandatory with details in the welcome book
- location of cleaning supplies
- power failure instructions
- primary contact information.

Mandatory Services
- Non-Refundable Booking Fee: $185.00 per stay plus HST
- Cleaning: $180.00 per stay plus HST
- For your convenience there is a mandatory cleaning fee added to your stay. Guests are still required to leave the cottage tidy, all food removed and garbage taken on departure.

Deposit required on booking of 30%.
The balance is due 60 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.

We loved the old video games and larger beds. Thank you for the garbage/recycling/fibre starter pack. This was helpful. The grounds are gorgeous and the view and sunset are brilliant. The lake was lovely for swimming and the dock and Muskoka chairs were great. As feedback to the owners, I see an opportunity to purchase a new picnic table as the blue table is in rough shape, and to have a few essentials like pepper and sugar. ---- Lastly thank you for the use of your beautiful property!

Guest Comments: We have booked through Cottage Care Rentals quite a few times before and they never disappoint! . Their team is very helpful and responsive to any questions. This was our first time staying at “Into the Woods” and we had quite an enjoyable time. The cottage is beautiful, very well maintained, and has everything you will need. It has a nice deck and a fire pit area with a great view to the lake. Everything was very clean. The lake is warm so it’s great for swimming. It’s also perfect for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. We We had a very relaxing week at this wonderful cottage and definitely hope to go back!

Guest Comments: We enjoyed this cottage very much. The layout was great! It was nice to have a bathroom that was roomy and had a shower and bathtub. The landscaping was awesome. They did a great job in all the walkways and steps. We all loved the firepit area overlooking the lake. Best view we've ever had sitting out by a fire! Just a suggestion for the ramp going down to the dock. As it is on a bit of an incline, it would be nice to have a handrail there to hold on to. It was also very helpful to have the garbage bags and landfill card and all instructions in the Welcome Package. That was a great bonus! We rated the cleanliness as a 4 as the people before us (we're assuming it was from the people the week before) didn't clean as well as they should have in our opinion. There were cracker and chip crumbs in one of the cupboards and the dining room table and chairs had crumbs left on them. There were also some dishes, mugs and cutlery that weren't very clean. We loved that we could drink the water from the tap.....we never have that amenity at cottages we've rented in the past. Would highly recommend this cottage!
