Nestled in the woods, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, you will quickly unwind and embrace your tranquil surroundings.  With the property tucked into a quiet bay, you have all the benefits of a 7 lake chain, but far less boat traffic.

Head down to the dock and enjoy the sunshine and a refreshing swim. Catchacoma is a crystal clear lake and the water at the end of the dock is 15ft deep ideal for diving and swimming. Explore the lake by canoe, kayak or pedal boat.

The sun room beckons for you to curl up and read a great novel while taking in the outdoor views from the wrap around windows overlooking the lake.

ACTIVITIES AT YOUR DOORSTEP:

Canoe through the 2 portages, one on Bottle Lake and the other on Sucker Lake. The latter is motorboat free.

Boat through the 7 lake chain for an amazing navigation experience.

Fishing for small and large mouth bass and trout is always fun for the kids and adults alike.

Hiking trails nearby to explore the wonderful outdoors.

There is a flat area at the bottom of the cottage stairs, where you will find a swing set and a horseshoe pit.

There is one parking spot at the marina for this cottage. Local firewood can be purchased nearby or at the Catchacoma marina.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

The cottage provides a composting toilette and an outhouse which are used in conjunction with each other. The Compositing Toilette must be used gently and needs to be tended to under the cottage every day or two.  There will be instruction on what you need to do.

The water system has special instructions upon entering the cottage and the fire pits and camp fire rules need to be followed without exception.

There are other detailed instructions on the operation of the cottage that you will need to familiarize yourself with before you use this cottage. We can provide all of these as part of the booking process so that you will know everything before you arrive.

• Pillows and blankets are provided.
• Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own.
• A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
• You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out. 
• BBQ Gas is provided

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

• Garbage information
• Location of cleaning supplies
• Power failure instructions
• Primary contact information

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

• Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 12pm.

You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
