This lovely cottage offers plenty of privacy on a deep clean lake that is perfect for swimming and fishing.  Easily accessed by private cottage road it has a true traditional cottage feel with a warm pine interior.

 There is a clean, bright kitchen that overlooks the dining area, and a comfortable sitting area.

The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there is a double bed in the 2nd bedroom.  There is a 3rd bedroom with a double bottom/single top bunk bed. There is a 3-pc bathroom with a shower plus a bonus 2-pc washroom. This cottage is very attractive, updated, clean and well maintained.

 

Outside there is a screened gazebo and a large deck that wraps around three sides of the cottage offering plenty of space to find your spot in the sun or shade.  There is a table for outside dining with seating for six.

 

This cottage is situated on a gently sloping rugged lot with lots of privacy.  There is a large sitting deck and dock at the shoreline with a lovely view of the lake and Crown Land across.  A sandy beach area for the little ones and a fire pit for your evening enjoyment.

 

This family oriented, deep, clean, land-locked lake is great for swimming, trout fishing, boating and canoeing. Perfect for nature lovers and simply ideal for a couple or family looking to experience and create cottage memories in these quiet, relaxing and natural surroundings.

 

This cottage is on Buckskin Lake, which is a clean, deep-water lake located approx. 10 km south of the village of Wilberforce, Ontario. Wilberforce is a busy little town with all of the amenities for cottage living. There is a large Foodland store, a gas station, restaurant, LCBO/beer store, pharmacy and Agnew's General Store.

 

Highlands East, Ontario is the Geocaching Capital of Canada!!  It is located approx 35 minutes each from Bancroft to the east, Haliburton to the west, southern Algonquin Park to the north and Kawartha Lakes to the south.  There are countless amenities and an abundance of nature to enjoy in this vacation region that boasts one of the most iconic landscapes in Canada.

  • Pillows and blankets are provided.
  • Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
  • A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
  • You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out unless otherwise arranged during the booking process. 
  • BBQ Gas is provided

  A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

  • Garbage information
  • Location of cleaning supplies
  • Power failure instructions
  • Primary contact information

  Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.

  All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

  • Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 12pm.

  You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
