*The shoreline is all-natural beauty, great for wildlife spotting. The depth at the end of the dock is shallow, this is not a cottage where you can cannonball off the dock from. The bottom of the lake at the shore and out to the end of the dock is very soft. You can use the canoe or paddle boat to get to the lily pad for better swimming in deeper water.

Lily pad

Shore line is very soft, enter the water from the dock, swimming is best from the lily Pad. There is a sand beach on Drag lake down Indian Point Road to the public boat launch 5 minutes away or a bit further to the Sand Point on Drag Lake 7 minutes away.

Important Guest Information

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival. The cleaning fee is mandatory and the cottage is cleaned and sanitized between guests.

Important guest information:

• Pillows and blankets are provided.
• Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own. Bed sizes are indicated in the listing.
• This cottage comes with a cleaning upon departure. We ask that you kindly tidy, do the dishes, and remove all garbage and food when you check out (see Welcome Book for landfill information)
• Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage/recycling, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
• BBQ Gas is provided.
• Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
• Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour’s property.

Remember to bring:

• Drinking water is from a well but it is hard water, Owners suggest that guests bring drinking water. We encourage guests to not bring single use plastic water bottles, rather large reusable jugs. 
• Properly sized life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
• Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue - a starter supply is provided so please replenish what you use.
• If intending to use the cottage fire pit, please ensure you source firewood local to the cottage to prevent the transit of invasive species to our area.
• A flashlight with fresh batteries for those dark evenings!

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information upon your arrival - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

• garbage information - please bring Clear Garbage Bags, there is no compost program - all compost goes into household, recycling is mandatory with details in the welcome book
• location of cleaning supplies
• power failure instructions
• primary contact information.
