Do you remember going to your Grandparents’ Cottage and recall the pleasures of old fashioned cottage fun and family memories? Not many of these cottages exist any longer but we have found one.
The Cottage deck faces the evening sun as it dips behind the hills across Glamor Lake. The Tamarack Cottage is a truly classic Canadian summer cottage.
All walls are Tamarack logs inside and out. For convenience, windows doors and beds have been upgraded and the kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to cook up tasty cottage fare for friends or family and there is a Weber BBQ for the Cottage Chef. The new addition of a comfortable lake view living room is perfect for relaxing.
Bedrooms are small but charming. There is one bathroom with a shower. There is no Wi-Fi, but there is good cell phone coverage for you to make a hot spot on your smart device.
The Tamarack Cottage is looking for people who appreciate old style cottages, and who will take care of the treasured family living and dining room furniture that are antiques from Germany.
Haliburton is just 20 minutes away where you can find all amenities such as boat rentals, local attractions, many shops, restaurants, large food stores, LCBO, beer store, pharmacies, hardware, hospital and clinics, etc. There are golf courses, walking trails, attractions and experience packages of all kinds. Our renowned local art and culture is right here to explore and enjoy! Why go anywhere else.
We look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have about the experience you will enjoy at The Tamarack Cottage. Please note: the owners prefer one small non shedding dog.

Guest Comments: Hi All! We had a great week @ The Tamarak. The cottage offered everything we could possibly need & the view was unbeatable. We made many long lasting memories, there. If there was "one" thing to comment on, it would be that a forewarning about the steepness of the driveway, to potential renters. Anyone who was driving a small car, might find the maneuvering difficult. We met a local cottager who was grading the road on Saturday, after it had rained most of Friday...nice lady & very friendly. Hope to see you next summer!
CCR Reply: So glad you had a great stay, hope to see you again next summer. We've added the note about the driveway and appreciate the feedback. Team CCR
