All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
Important guest information:
- Water is from a well, tested yearly, it is potable
- Pillows and blankets are provided.
- Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own. Bed sizes are indicated in the listing.
- You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove all garbage and food when you check out.
- Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage/recycling, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
- BBQ Gas is provided.
- Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
- Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour’s property.

Remember to bring:
- Properly sized life jackets for everyone participating in water activities (pertaining to summer bookings).
- Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue - a starter supply is provided so please replenish what you use.
- If intending to use the cottage fire pit, please ensure you source firewood local to the cottage to prevent the transit of invasive species to our area.
- A flashlight with fresh batteries for those dark evenings!
A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information upon your arrival - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:
- garbage information - please bring Clear Garbage Bags, there is no compost program - all compost goes into household, recycling is mandatory with details in the welcome book
- location of cleaning supplies
- power failure instructions
- primary contact information.

Mandatory Services
- Non-Refundable Booking Fee: $175.00 per stay plus HST
Payment Notes
There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Non-Refundable Booking Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA or MC.
The balance is due 60 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.

Guest Comments: Some evidence of furniture misused by dogs (sofa arms of the cane chairs in screened in room)
CCR Reply: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback! Upon further inquiry, the wicker chairs on the porch are aged, thus showing wear and tear and the sofa is old; neither are caused by dogs. The Owners are aware and will look to replace these when they can. Thank you - Team CCR

Guest Comments: I can't get the rating boxes to open, so I'll rate the four criteria here. Overall vacation experience: Excellent, Cleanliness of cottage: Very clean, Amenities at cottage: Very Good - although the kettle didn't work, the latch on the main door window was broken so we couldn't close the window, and two lamps in the living room didn't work so it was difficult to read in there at night - these points are simply feedback, not critique! Experience with staff: Excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our week as Two Loons, and would definitely book there again, and/or recommend it to friends. :) Sincerely, Kelly

Guest Comments: Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful cottage. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope we can book soon for next year. From the well appointed kitchen to the lovely shoreline, everything was just what we wanted. We purchased a bath mat for the inside of the tub as it was quite slippery. Please let us know when we can book 2 weeks for next year.

Guest Comments: Overall, a great experience from booking through departure. Simple booking process, great response time for questions and clear and concise instructions that covered everything from directions to local amenities. The cottage itself was great, living space was open with nice big windows for great view of the lake. Bedrooms were clean and functional. The screened in room was where we spent a lot of time too, great breeze and escape from the bugs at dusk. Deck the length of the cottage, fire pit right on the shore and a floating dock with deep water at the end. There was also another shallow swimming area that was sandy and would be great for kids. Would definitely return again in the future.
