The Lakehouse on Soyers Lake in the Haliburton Highlands is perfect for a multi-generational family to create lasting cottage memories. With gourmet kitchen, spacious living room, lower level games room, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, this newly built Viceroy cottage is a perfect holiday retreat for your family.

The Lakehouse can comfortably sleep 12 in privacy and comfort. The loft master bedroom with King bed, three piece ensuite and walk in closet. Main floor with 3 bedrooms featuring a Queen; Double; and single bunks with double futon. Two bedrooms on the lower level with Queen beds. The main floor and the lower level both have full 4 piece bathrooms.

The main level open concept great room with 20ft ceilings and stunning floor to ceiling windows is perfect for gathering the family for games, reading or storytelling on the oversized leather sofa. A small private deck off the great room is perfect for quiet moments.

The well-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances is perfect for the cottage chef with the BBQ on the sun filled wrap around deck close by. Dining at the large dining room table or on the deck overlooking the lake.

The lower level family room is equipped with a large flat screen TV with DVD player, Wii system and a games table for lots of entertainment. There is a DVD and Wii game library as well. There is a walkout to the large fire pit and steps to the lake.

The waterfront is 200 ft. with large dock which receives sun all day. It can accommodate a large boat. There is deep water off the dock plus a small beach area for the little ones. It's located in a quiet bay with very little boat traffic.

Soyers Lake is part of Haliburton Highland's 5-lake chain. You can boat from the cottage to the town dock in the village of Haliburton. There is a marina 10 minutes away from the cottage where you can launch a boat or take advantage of boat and motor rentals. The Village of Haliburton is just 15 minutes away and has a great selection of major food stores, gift shops, clothing stores, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, LCBO/Beer store, live entertainment and much more. There is also plenty of opportunity for golfing with the Pinestone Golf Course just 5 minutes away and the Blairhampton Golf Course just a 15 minute drive away. The Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Centre is 40 minutes away and offers great nature trails, a Walk in the Clouds adventure and incredible wildlife viewing at the famous Wolf Centre. • Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
• A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
• You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out. 
• BBQ Gas is provided

A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:

• Garbage information
• Location of cleaning supplies
• Power failure instructions
• Primary contact information

Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.

• Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 12pm.

You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.
